That is the stuff that turns everything orange. Still have half a bottle. Not my cup of tea. A lot of the high end octane boosters seem to do it. Common ingredient? I have been using the 104+, basically a glorified fuel system cleaner but has been working for me. Buying it by the case.

Your best bet is mixing in a few gallons of race gas from the track or drag strip with your 92 gas. I've tried quite a few brands of octane booster and the only ones that really work turn my spark plugs (piston tops, combustion chamber) a thick coating of orange. I don't know but it doesn't seem...

If good quench isn't in the cards and running pump gas then I would try to keep compression lower and cylinder pressure / dynamic compression lower to keep away the rattles.
