I was thinking they looked like the old school cheapies I took out of my car. Expensive one's going in.

They don't coat them themselves, they farm it out.

I scratched and gouged mine when I installed them, but they haven't rusted, nothing like yours. And my car sees everything but snow.

I have them on 2 cars, 2.5" & 3", I like them, they sound nice, loud when you get on them and a good tone at cruise. No tinny sound. I got them with my exhaust, and they work well.

Something to think about when I order my wires.

So you replace the regular style boot with this? The end attached to the plug remains exposed?

I have tti's on my 440 in the Polara and it wasn't running right and I found only 1 burnt one, but they are mighty close on some cylinders. A friend recommended Taylor wires.

tti had some issues thath ave been resolved. I got a set for my Dart and for my Polara, love em!

I went with 3" on my Polara, but I also installed headers at the same time, so any gain just from the pipes wasn't measured. Go big or go home!

I got a used set off tti's off a duster, going in my Dart, 440/727. They came pre-dented from the previous owner. ;)

I'm getting tti headers and exhaust for my Polara and was wondering the same thing. Feel better hearing about the sound. My glasspacks end at the axle and I don't love the drone one bit. Look forward to getting and installing the exhaust this spring.
