    9" Rear Drums

We turned a ton of drums my first go around at the parts store. I was lucky to have a pair turned close to a decade ago before the last shop in the area with a lathe, closed.

Can you post a picture of the tire? 95h sounds like a speed rating. I'm sure it's not a 95 series tire.

Upgrading to 11.75” discs on the front?

I'm glad I got my parts years ago. I don't have to think about it, I just need to put them on. I used E-Boogers disc brake swap found on Mopar Actions website, Disc-o-tech I think it was titled. Hope it all works out easily for you.

    Need "Disc O Tech" article

I had most everything years ago, but I didn't get the brackets til I joined this site.:thankyou: Now to throw them on the car with all the other parts I've gathered for 18 years... Gotta beat the 9" front drums the car has only known!

    Need "Disc O Tech" article

Go with what works together, not what might work together. Save yourself a lot of time trying to figure out what's already been figured out. That said I'm using the 73 up spindles, 11 3/4" rotors and the pin type calipers and brackets on my 67.

A Body Disc Brake Swap 101

I was told by memebers here you can use your original tie rods with the 74 spindles, but you'll need to also use the original center link and pitman/idler arms.

    KH Discs vs 73+ Discs

I got all I needed for a swap to 73+ discs at the parts store except UCA's and the caliper brackets. I tried KH, but that was a no go and expensive, even with me working at the parts store. They just weren't worth pursuing. I got then11.75" rotors and pin type calipers. I'm not building a canyon...

A Body Disc Brake Swap 101

Funny. My Dart has manual brakes and I'm fine with that (although they have never worked well since I've had the car, front 9" only) I know how they are. My Polara has power brakes, and when they weren't hooked up, they sucked! Power brakes without vacuum is way worse than manual brakes any day...

    How to remove stuck drums

I got the other side off. Pry bar and PB Blaster did the trick. A big hammer also helped. I did smash the drums up a bit, but there life was already near the end. Thanks everyone for your suggestions, I appreciate it! Now to throw this unit under the car with the super stock springs.

    How to remove stuck drums

I'm going to put BBP axles and 11" drums on the car, so I'm not too concerned about what I'm taking off. Not that I want to ruin it though.

    How to remove stuck drums

The one side is moving and one of the pins already undid itself. I forgot to mention that in my first post. The other side seems to move just a little. I don't have a torch, otherwise I would try that approach. It is in the back of my truck so I could stop by a shop. I do have a pry bar...

    How to remove stuck drums

I have an 8 & 3/4 axle that the drums are stuck/rusted on. Tried backing off the adjusters but that didn't help. I sprayed some PB Blaster in hopes that a 24 hour soak might free it up. Going to see if it helps in the morning. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Wilwood Vs Viper Brake Caliper.

ScubaSteve: as a manager of a parts store you should know that hardly any company is going to jeep an item in stick that has very little or no demand. Being that the Viper is a low production car, and most owners aren't going to work on their car themselves, and that the dealer will source the...

To convert to discs or not convert? That is the question!

Use '73 up spindles and upper control arms from a car with disc brakes, and the calipers and brackets also, swap your master cylinder, and you have discs. Might need the proportioning valve also. Cheap and plentiful.
