Took mine to a spring shop. Had new bushings installed in less than 10 min. Didn't cost much. Did have to go back, though, because the bolt hole was too big so like sedanman says, get the right size.

For what it's worth, I tried to put some 13" wheels on my stock '71 Swinger w/7.25 one time just to roll the car around and they would not fit over the drums.

I subscribed to this thread as I am thinking the same way. From what I understand, the 98 Ram has an all electronic transmission requiring the OEM computer to run it. You'd be better off with years 93-95 that has both the overdrive and lock up converter that can be wired up to work properly...
