A lot of car dealers have a "master key" set of wheel lock keys but I don't know how many would have a lock such as yours. It may be worth a try to stop by your local dealer and see what they have.

First thing you`ll probably want to do is to measure the inside dimension of the rim. This way you`ll know exactly what you`re working with. I used 205/70-15 and 255/60-15 on my Dart without any problems.

I`m running Wheel Vintiques 15 x 8 rallye wheels with 4.625 backspacing. They are tight especially on the right side (see photo) but no scraping.

I presently have 275/60-15 Nitto Drag Radials on 15 x 8 rims on my 68 Barracuda with stock wheelwells. If you get the backspacing just right they should fit without an issue.

That`s a fact, Jack. Chrysler believed the lugs would loosen with the counter clockwise rotation of the wheels. (??) I can`t tell you how many Mopars I`ve owned that had the studs wrung off because some gorilla with an impact wrench didn`t realize the threads of the studs were left-handed.

I was able to fit a 275/60-15 on an 8 inch rim with 4.25 backspacing under my Dart without moving anything. I`m certain you`ll have to move your springs to fit a 10" rim in the wheelwell without hitting anything. There are several drag tires available that measure in the 10 x 28 x 15 range...

Don`t use spacers, your car and your life are not worth it.

You may have to look out for sway bar clearance (if so equipped) on the front when you go with a backspace over 4 inches. I`ve run a 15 x 8 on the rear with 4.25 backspace. Leaf spring clearance was tight but there were no problems.

I think you`ll find that if you have standard opening rear wheelwells and put the largest rim you can in it, (8 inch) a backspacing of 4.00-4.50 inches should be about what will fit before you have to roll wheel lips and/or move leaf springs. Each car is different, even the same year, make, and...

Measure inside the bead to inside the bead. This will be the actual rim size. The overall outside width will be about 1" larger, for example the 5.5" wheel should measure 6.5" from outer edge to outer edge.

I`ve never heard of 5" rims, only 4.5" and the 5.5". You can buy aftermarket rims from places like Wheel Vintiques in various diameters and widths.

Yeah he was winding it pretty tight though, in what sounded like 2nd or 3rd gear. That tire probably had an S speed rating and he was turning it in the V or Y range. :D

Yeah, that tire could`ve taken out some people with the way it exploded. Thankfully it didn`t but it did provide endless entertainment to all Mopar and Ford fans.

I`ve found a pair of Nitto NT555 Extreme tires for a good price. Has anybody used these tires and what did you think?

I bought a set of E70-14`s from Coker Tire. They have both bias-ply and radials but you`d better be sitting down when you get a price.

The black rims looked good but I like the green rims even more! :thumbup:

That sounds pretty good but to get 100K from a set of tires probably means they don`t hook worth beans. It`s hard to find traction and longevity in one tire. Yeah I wish the U.S. would get more competive there.
