Took home a Gold trophy at our local car show. Exactly 15 months after buying the car.

You would not believe how many funny faces I saw when I'd tell them the color combo I had planned. My mother was the biggest vocal critic before it was painted. I think it works well together because the gray has a lot of purple in it and the sublime stripe sets the 2 off.

I took it down the road and back. We just bled the brakes for the first time this am so I took it easy. Very mild mannered, great throttle response.

2 beautiful days but very little done on the car because mommy had to work 12hr shifts both days so daddy was home with the baby. Big sis was out of town with grandma. But we did go out and put the parts we got in the mail from barracudakid.

I have tried to do as much work myself or with the help of my dad or friends. still will have 18-20k invested. 5k for car, 5k for motor and trans, 5k for various restoration parts, 2k in body and paint materials, 1k in seats, 2k in wheels and tires. I could have bought one done for less, but...
