rod into master cylinder needed 69 dart/ opinion on JB welding it

I like your picture, plus you added $0.25 value to your car. Don't forget to add that into the price when you sell it. (LMAO) I hope those idiots know about the rubber retainer that goes on the groove in the rod. That's what holds the rod into the master.

rod into master cylinder needed 69 dart/ opinion on JB welding it

Amen to that brother. If I were him I'd take all the evidence, including pictures, to corporate for the shop he took it to and raise hell. Their actions and advice put his life in jeopardy. Whoever told him that should be fired on the spot.

    Rear brakes lockup

My first thought was leaking rear wheel cylinders but it sounds like you changed them. Did you put new spring kits on the rear? Are the drums up to min. tolerances? As a last desperate effort you could eliminate the self adjusters and manually set them up. That sure beats the car switching ends...

brakes wont work, duster almost smashed

100% right. When they go bad you have to pump them (wish I had a dollar every time I did it). If you go out and slowly press on the brake it will go to the floor, if you pump it once or twice then press on it the brakes will feel normal and work normally. Get a new Master Cyl. Now, the rears...
