Hi PaCuda59! Hope all is well with you and your family. Both my 61 Chysler and 71 Charger have had this happen. The Chysler liked to squel as well which was lovely. Pulled each cable out, put some grease on them, put them back in and fixed them both. Good luck with yours. Ma Snart
