    Any 10 second "All Throttle" 318's in door cars ?

    Just a few minor corrections, the car pictured is a 65 Valiant. It can't have a 318 2bbl because the 318 wasn't available in 65. I believe it's a 273 2bbl, running in Q/S. The index is 13.65, so mid 12's is more likely. There's a few 318 thermoquad equipped cars and a few 273 afb equipped cars...

    LD340 Can’t Get The Carb Base To Seal

    Maybe consider using the thicker insulating gasket that comes in the rebuild kits. I've got the same intake and carb and never had that problem. Also recommend hooking the PCV back up. A straight edge check of the carb and intake wouldn't hurt.

    Could you just have the timing way too far advanced? Did you replace plug wires or cap and have them in the wrong order or 180* off?

    90 degree oil filter adapter filter

    Just a fyi. If you need an even smaller diameter filter for any clearance issues. The filter for the 85-91 2.2 and 2.5 dodge turbo engines will spin right on. It has the same size gasket and thread.

    Mine has that exact plastic end on it. Its slides on at a 90* angle on the bell shaped oil pressure sender units.

    .060 Over 340....Your Thoughts?

    Food for thought. The CID between a .040 over 340 and a .060 over 340 is about 3 1/2 CID. So, a mild 340 build would be lucky to make 1 hp per CID. So why would anyone risk boring further than needed for 3 1/2 hp. Just saying. Mark:)
