Nope. I used the urethane epoxy primer just like on a car body, along with base coat/clearcoat PPG paint. 1 full season of running it plenty hard and still looks great! I also have the PPG clearcoat on my bead blasted aluminum intake which is holding up awesome.

Yes it is! Just for fun... Actually, a friend of mine found them at a swap meet and thought they would be perfect for my van. The price was right and now I have some badass traction! LOL

Factory 4 speed (3 speed/overdrive), and limited slip rear end with a 360. Not slow, but not fast. Just cool. My '78 Shorty StreetVan. LOL
