    He says it depends upon the bell housing you use. Most people use the Quicktime bell because it's smaller and fits the tunnel better. the Challenger bell is huge. Quicktime is about 10.5".

    I worried about that in my 200R4 swap. I also had subframe connectors that would have to twist first. The C-channel used to make the cross member is so strong I can't see it moving. I also used a torque strap as well just to be on the safe side. That c-channel isn't going to move anyway, though...

    I am running into that putting my automatic floor shifter in my Dart. I am moving it back an inch or two. I want to be able to catch the edge of the crossmember. With a manual you probably won't get away with that, but can probably modify the crossmember if you need to cut it.
