    Nice car but alot wrong

It's a beautiful car. Maybe not as original as stated, and the price is a bit high, but I would think $20K is a good price for it.

    What should I do?!

It depends on what you want and who you are. I keep looking at 68 Chargers or early 70's Challengers. I would love to sell the Dart and buy one, but I know I like speed. I don't like to lose those street races. If I spent all the money on the car, I would not be able to afford to make it as fast...

    Awesome early A

I'll give him $100 for it. He can keep the car and use the money for a camera.

    trunk seal

Mine was replaced with a flat piece of foam by the PO, so I had no way to know how they were originally installed. My first set I installed incorrectly. I bought a second set and all my hood seals and door whiskers and such from www.justmopar.com and it came with instructions. It takes a bit of...

    trunk seal

This is exactly what I have, and it looks like the same type of lip on your car. The install photo is great. There were no instructions with mine and I had to figure it out on my own. I did not get it right the first time.

    trunk seal

It looks a little like mine from my Dart Sport. The rubber was different. If I can hobble to the garage and uncover it, I can show you what mine looked like. I was sent the style you show originally, but that wasn't right. Then I struggled on how they actually sat. I finally figured it out. I'll...

    Embarrased that I'm asking

When all else fails, I use a chisel or screwdriver to dent the base of the filter, then angle the chisel or screwdriver into the dent and tap it counter clockwise with a hammer to turn it off.

    5.9 motor mounts?

Mine is not really early, but in my 73 I used standard mounts from Schumacher. Mine was an original 318 and went to a 408 based on a 92 360 magnum block.

66 dart trunk improvement ideas (or waiting on paint to dry)

In my Triumph Spitfire, I also made trunk panels and carpeted the trunk. The tire sat on top, so I cut a piece of hardboard just a little bigger than the tire, wrapped the tire in carpet, folded tabs over the hardboard, and glued it to the board. Then I cut a round piece of carpet to cover it...

66 dart trunk improvement ideas (or waiting on paint to dry)

My brother just bought the car and the guy told us he laid out his design, then trimmed and sanded the foam. Then glue and roll on the vinyl. It looks very nice. I work in a shop and I never understood why people don't like mini spares. A spare tire is designed to get you to a place to repair...

    I don't like using a bumper jack

I have my old buddies at Northeast Towing programmed into my phone. No way am I ever changing a tire on the road with all the morons (except me, I have a flat) on the road.

    underhood attachment

Looks like a strap type bracket. If you don't care about all original parts, you can make one easily with metal strapping.
