    seeing as how torque is done by 2500 and hp isn’t rising till 5000, could the cam be installed a few degrees retarded? It could explain the 150 psi.

    There is nothing wrong with the proform you have. Like the others said here, its holley based. The only annoyance you'll have is when its cooler out...no choke. You could always go with a different carb, spread bore, vacuum secondary and a choke same cfm. Your cam is rated for 2500 - 6000...

    lol Well yeah, that's the simple way but defeats the purpose of going out and specifically buying a street carb with an electric choke. I have 2 650 double pumpers and countless 600's without electric chokes. Its cooler here now, its nice hitting the peddle once and the car starts right now...

    I read somewhere, someone tapped one side of the voltage regulator for power. I did this and it is working but i'm uncomfortable having constant 12v to the choke. Someone else posted adding some sort of module to the choke. I dont know what its called but i happen to have one in my mopar only...

    Eddy 1407 or Holley 3310-2?

    if it took the eddy...3310 will be fine. im assuming you have a kit to tune the holley.
