What size bore master cylinder to use?

I am getting an aluminum master cylinder for a 1985 5th Ave. Will this work right with my power brake booster? I know I will need the adapter but is there anything that I need to do with the push rod?? Thanks guys.

What size bore master cylinder to use?

I want to change over to the aluminum master cylinder because I am tired of trying to fix the leaking cast master cylinder cover on my Dart. I want a nice all around daily driver feel to the brakes, nothing harsh but I can't remember what bore is the best for me. This is for a power front disc...

    Brake Master Cylinder leaking problem.

Thanks for the tip! I have the chrome master cylinder cover and rubber gasket that came with it. That may be the problem since most everyone on this forum thinks the chrome covers are junk.

    Brake Master Cylinder leaking problem.

I also have replaced the caliper on the pass. side twice now with remans. from NAPA. I will try the pad sticking thing and maybe I got a bad flexible line again who knows. The...

Passenger side caliper not totally releasing

On my 72 Swinger, the passenger side wheel has some pretty good resistance to rolling when I have the front end off the ground on jack stands. The drivers side wheel rolls with little effort. I can see that the disc pads are worn more on the passenger side also so I know the caliper is not...

Gi'me a brake! front drum question

I would start at the farthest one too, just as you did, then work my way back. I believe the junction block, proportioning valve or hoses all can be the problem. Looks like you've got more work ahead. Good luck.
