I have a 68 GTS 383 Numbers car (replaced the motor with a 511), the car was mini tubbed when I got it. It could always be retuned to stock if need i guess. Im glad I have the extra tire 325/50/15 ET streets. I would do what you want to fully enjoy the car. Others may disagree. Andrew
