you brought up a good question, if I measure the way you are susposed to it comes out about 1/8 too much but you have to take in consideration the over sized hles Thanks Moe

Well pics of this is kinda hard . I measured with my calipers the lug nut shank is just a hair Over 9/16 the hole in the wheel is a hair over 5/8" these are the lug nut that came with the wheels notice i read my calipers wrong , it should be 3/32 not 3/16,but still seems like alot of play...

Put the wheels on and finger tighten nut and the wheel will move up and down on the hub about 3/16" +or- Moe

Yes 4 inch pattern just seems too much play, new wheels going to put dial indicator on them tomorrow Moe

I can get the lug nuts in ok but the wheel is not centered on the hub and I think it is causing front end problems Moe

I recently put four new cragar ss on my 64 Dart but before I had the tires mounted I had to clean up the inside of the wheel where they welded after chroming . Black stuff from welding, splatter and some of the welds were not painted to prevent rust. Guess we just have to get use to poor quality...
