Here is my new wheels - a set of Weld 15" x 12" with a set of M/T sportsman Pros 28" x 15.50-15 . I still have a good 3 inches of space between the tire and the frame rail ... wish I had gone with the 15 x 14 wheels with 2 more inches of backspace cuz then I could have gotten the 28 x 18.00...

I use a set of M/T 26x12.50 Sportsman Pro and sometimes a set of Goodyear 275-60 x15 and they both hook about equal.

I have 205-75 x 14 on front of my 68 and they clear with room to spare (26.5 tall) Iguess it depends on how high your front end sits I have 1.5 inback of the tire and 2inches to the front of the tire (all at its closest points)

I would use a buffing compound (red to clean then white to shine) and a die grinder with a good buffing wheel

I'm running a set of 12.50 x15 on 10 mags with 4inch backspace and have 3-4 inches of clearance to the inner wheel well no problem (6 inch backspace would be perfect for me )
