    I reinforced the sub frames with the connector then when i caged it i added more at the floor where the sub frames connect to floor pan and welded the sub frame stubs to the floor too

    after cleaning as stated apply some heat to the sleeve which will help expand it (don't get it red hot)and it will turn no matter what you use

    I like the Scarebird setup. You buy their adaptor plates and everything else is over the counter parts from any parts house. Its cheap and works great. I have had mine for about 5 years with no problems and only have about $250 dollars in them .

    I don't know about the width on the ford rear, I assume you could trim it to stock width - but I am runnig 12 x 15 wheels with 6" backspace and a set of 29 x 15.50 x15 M/T on my cuda and still have 3" between my sidewall and my frame rail
