    Chop saw

I have to agree about using HF type blades vs quality blades. Cheap isn't so cheap when you have issues using them. I have a rule when it comes to HF tools, if it has an electric cord I don't buy it.

    Renting a shop?

I have been on both sides of the coin. My business outgrew my space so I rented additional space for the overflow. All I was seeing was a stack of rent receipts that was gaining no equity so I solved the problem and built a new building that was tall enough to add a second story inside. My...

    Car lift

If it isn't wore out, it is a great deal. It is an asymmetric and the American made Bendpac is a good lift. If he is a gangsta you better take plenty of help and keep you a$$ covered.

Gojack wheels are 4" in diameter, what are yours? If you look at the bearings, you will see they are equal the center of the wheel.

    Wheel Dollies

Junk metal that isn't round for the balls and the other surfaces not being machined smooth for the balls to rotate on. I have a pair of Gojacks and they work fabulous. I bought the pair very reasonable at an auction and had to replace a couple of casters. The casters cost me around $70 for a...

    Wheel Dollies

There are some things at HF that is junk no matter what you pay for them. I pick up good quality casters at auctions such as university auctions, government auctions and warehouse auctions. I have to buy what ever they are attached to but I can usually get them fairly cheap.

Most of Horrid Freight's casters aren't very good as far as I am concerned. Are you on real smooth concrete?

    Car Lifts

It has the feet/adapters that I detest. They are a pia when compared to A Rotary lift.

    Car Lifts

I have a 12K Rotary and love it. It has real feet on the arms instead of some cheesy mess. It is also asymmetrical, which is a no brainer as far as I am concerned.

    Car lift

I have a Rotary asymmetric lift. Definitely not the cheapest but if things haven't changed it is made in the USA and is top quality.

anybody running sch 40 PVC pipe

We had galvanized pipe all the way through the Mercury Marine Mercruiser plant here in Stillwater. Ran three paint lines, die cast, machining, assembly and every other department off of it with zero problems. Personally I would run nothing but galvanized.

    copper vs pvc compressor lines?

When I owned my mattress manufacturing company, I never had a insurance inspector darken my door. The fire chief came in once to check my fire extinguishers and when he found out I had a company contracted to maintain them, he never darkened the door again.

All of last year and so far this year Sears has gotten none of my tool purchases. I have moved to buying Craftsman hand tools from CL, swap meets, flea markets and pawn shops. I have some Snap-On sets but most of my hand tools are Craftsman that are American made. When buying any additional Craftsman tools, if they are made overseas I will pass them over and buy a different brand. I have zero overseas hand tools in my boxes and it isn't going to change if I can help it.
