Yes, I think you are 100% correct. I am only showing a 2 door sedan in 1967 and 1968 for the Dart. 1969 doesn't have a 2 door sedan listed.

I suspect you hit the nail on the head when you said the cradle hit the cast aluminum oil pan being why the insurance company totaled it. I have seen that happen many times. I think you will come out well on this rebuild. We have built well over a 100 late model cars before health issues shut...

Are 318s hard to find there? You can go a lot newer and it will fit without a problem.

No. The tranny is different and so are the mounts. If you use the tranny and the K member out of the /6 it would fit.
