Convertible is convertible only from what I have been told. Something to do with the area on the top being shaped different because of the pump mounting bar. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.

All the 1967 Barracuda brochures that I have seen shows them as argent. In real life I have seen some done in black but I have no idea if someone painted them that way...

I would never consider it. Use your car for parts on a decent builder convertible and you will be further a head plus it would be cheaper in the long run.

Best to go see what is available in your area in person and then compare prices based on what your eyes have shown you. I have seen some pretty nasty installs done by so called professionals.

On my 68 the pump is behind the rear seat and the reservoir is in the pump itself.

I am not sure about any frame rail differences other than the torque boxes but there is a heavy piece of metal that is in the rockers on the 67 to 69s. I don't know about earlier A bodies.

I am a bit confused about what you are asking. If you are talking about the trunk pan to the quarter panel the yes there is a drop down.

C13 is the shoulder belts and they were an option for the convertible. I have seen one picture of them and they come from the back seat to the front seat. Needless too say they had to be a pia for anyone in the back seat. C14 shows NA so maybe the tag is another misprint.

Sounds too high from the description. Adding some very detailed pictures would be a lot better if you want some decent opinions.
