Enjoy your school experience. I never had the opportunity, but did live the lifestyle thru a few of my friends that went to U of Md. :)
My neighbor had a 74' (square style) C10 as his daily driver. It was two tone Baby Blue & White, Med Blue interior and had tall tires with Cragar wheels. Was...
:worthles:
We certainly can't use this one ^^^^^^^^^^on you, lol.
I love that seat. Are you thinking Blue on the exterior? I personally would consider a bright white. After all, it is a little forgiving as far as perfect bodywork is concerned.
Those are some of the nicest looking trucks ever made when they're done up nice. Enjoy working on it and the family connection just makes it that much better. I'm sure you'll learn a lot & do a fine job making it presentable. One plus is, a lot of stuff is available for them, and that sure makes...
When I ran a body shop supply in the early 80's, Porsche "Guards Red" was the most popular. It was Ditzler/PPG code 72060. It was expensive then...I can't even fathom the price these days...:)
Congrats on post 1000 Caleb! Can't wait to see your progress with the Duster. Take whatever time you need to get her right and she'll turn out sweet.....:thumleft:.
Nice work Tim! Man I'm just getting caught back up...
The engine bay itself looks great, and I'm definitely gonna try and keep up with the hood fab/air filter sealing.
Keep up the good work for us guys that can only dream. :thumleft:
Congratulations! What a clean Dart.....Those pans are to die for. :D
That's gonna be a great ride. Especially when you get your 360 in that bad boy. :thumbrig:
Man, that car is gonna be sweet. So glad to see you back to work on another one. Some of the best Duster rehab's in the country come out of your shop. :thumbrig:
Me too. I lived/grew up in a real Mopar neighborhood as a teen. I loved them then...and still love them now. The available cars that came my way were from all the manufacturers and I grabbed the best deals I could find. I'm glad I got to experience muscle cars from all the cars that were...
Good luck with the Chevelle's also. I owned 3 between 75' & 81'. A 69' SS396, a 72' SS 402, and a 72' SS 350. Not real popular on this site, but they were great deals for me, and really good cars from that era that I enjoyed.
This is a great thread!!! And thank you so much Spencer for serving us here in the great old USA. Dad, congrats on raising such a fine young man, and keeping the passion alive with all your projects. :thumbrig:
What a great project down the road. Plus with the "B" engine, 4spd, and backing it up with a just right (shortened) Dana.......It just might end up one of the coolest Dart's on this site.
Good Luck as you continue on. I'll be watching...and drooling. :D
Such a nice car. I'm sure you're glad to actually have it in your hands. Thanks for the vid, and i'll try and keep up with what you do to her in the future. :thumleft:
Wow, that's gonna be some ride when your finished. A ton of members here are going to want to see your progress on this car. Congrats on the acquisition.
I posted a while back that 30 yrs ago I saw some SBC cars running in C/SM with their 4150's sideways. Don't remember the theory, but a really short stroke running low 10's and turning 9k was good enough for me :D. I'm almost positive one was a SRD (Speed Research & Development) 66/67 Nova...
There's a lot of good stuff to work with from what I can see. I have a feeling when it comes time to remove the paint, you'll have some work to do, meaning several layers. I absolutely love the wheels.....and i'm not a slot guy, lol.
Congrats! Enjoy your project :thumbrig:.
Just trim them. It shouldn't require much.
I had one other thought. You mentioned the housing you picked up was shortened. How much? What i'm trying to say is, make sure it's not going to require "crazy" offset wheels to work with just a mini-tub.
