    I'm the last person you'd want to ask about boost, but I've known guys that ran 6lbs with pump gas, and 8.5ish compression engines that ran like stockers, and had great mid-range power. Really depends on what you're looking to do with it?

    If I'm reading this right, you're planning on going back to the 3.50's sometime soon. If that's the case, just try and keep the trans cool & live with the "slip" for now, and get back to those gears as soon as possible.

    I guess we need to ask how fast you want to go? The 340 looks like the best option to me as you want a street style combo. With some boost, it should be one he!! of a ride. With the 449" combo, while it can be set up mild enough for street use, you'll need some serious suspension/cage mods to...

    Not cheap, but looks like a good option for you Scott. As I said before, i'm not boost savy, but i can see you'd have some more left with that box especially if you decide to step up the pressure a little further.
