It's a small black wire that went to the voltage limiter on the back of the left PCB. Does that help?

Had some time to track things down. Followed the burnt black wire into the loom cutting the tape away and got to where it was crimped in with another black and also an orange wire. The other end went to the voltage limiter box on the left PCB. The wire seemed to be burnt worse in the middle...
