2 1/2 really sounds good and will help keep you out or trouble. if you are going to race it you can always put cutouts in.

When I installed mine I also had to take the power steering box off, and I took the motor mount loose on the left side and raised the motor, the right side went right in.

just put one of summit's 2 1/2" exhaust systems on my 73 Duster today, everything fix just right, took about 1 1/2 hours to install, and that was me laying on the ground doing them.

well got them on by removing the steering link and starter and power steering box now I can't get the bolts back in the steering box, this sucks.

Sounds like something is warped, never tried double gasket.

There was no Damn directions with them, I though about using C4 but did not want to mess up my paint
