    If it is just a gouge and not through just leave it alone, if it has to be repaired just clean it up so it can be welded. Then I would use Eastwood's silver high temp coating P/N 101752 in a can and just touch it up with a brush. I have done whole exhaust systems with that and it holds up great...

    They have all kinds of mufflers, you can even design your own, I have the short square ones on my Duster and they are pretty loud and sound good too.

    Would be nice if the EPA would get off there lazy arses and approve the new law that was signed by the Gov 2 years ago. I can't understand why they would take so long as it is the same thing CA has. But then again it took about 4 years to get the MC one approved.

    Its a dyno test just lean out the carb and keep the timing at factory specs and you should pass. After the test just set it back where you want it. This is how I did it with my 74 F250 390.

    As stated you will need the evap canister all hooked up. They run your car on a Dyno at different speeds through a simulated course that is on a computer screen. They will check your gas cap also as stated, can't say about the fuel cell. If you fail most of the time it's just a matter of timing...

    Weld nut to head of bolt soak it penetrating oil over night take next day. Soak in penetrating oil while bolt is hot from welding on nut.

    Next time you mess with exhaust bolts, run the engine till hot then spray them with penetrating oil two or three times letting the engine cool the last time before trying to loosen any of them. When you reassemble use plenty of anti seize.

    Mine are the same way, no leaks but mine were JetHot coated and fit together tight.
