Problem solved I think. It seems the rad cap was not sealing properly. I changed it at noon today and although I didn't test drive it as much as I wanted it was alot better. There is now pressure in the system and runs much cooler. I want to thank everyone for their help. Bobby

There is no pressure in the system when it is hot. I used a Gates thermostat and rad cap that I suppose could be defective.
