Agreed, hot tank it first at some local machine shop, then weld all the seams then if you can,get it sand blasted. If not then after welding just wire brush it and soak it with epoxy then paint or just rustoleum. Eastwood makes "internal frame coating" and what I would do after final blasting...

I have new ESPO "HD 340" springs factory height. Very friendly people with good prices. They are definitely lots more stiff than my worn out factory turds. Car is still a shell (100% empty) and springs are new, so ride height is still high

Agreed. Looks like location of the mod is guaranteed. For a person like me who is not much of a fabricator this would be a great advantage. Using the facotry holes creates height, depth and side to side alignment.

Yeap, get leafs tailored for your style of driving. Espo carries a nice selection and can build you a set to your specifications too. I have a set of HD springs from them but have not ran them yet. The look and feel heavy duty for sure. Supposed to be quite stiff and factory ride height.
