    Intake manifold blockade?

Can you elaborate on why this will junk an engine? I tend to clean anything/everything just on principle if I have it apart, but I'm curious about what is so devastating up under there. Old high mileage motors have lots of baked-on sludged-up stuff in them, no? Obviously, if one was going to...

    Bruce ( Shrinker )

Hi Greg, Welcome to the site. The rest of you guys have no idea what he has to deal with. Carbys weren't designed to run upside down, and with the intake runners & heads trying to swirl the mixture in the opposite direction, he has his work cut out for him.

    Anyone dyno tune there sniper?

Of course there will always be the differences between a dry Plenum port injection and wet Plenum throttlebody injection. It will be interesting to see if there’s any substantial changes in the timing curves.Be sure to post your before and after timing settings and any modifications. Please also...

Pulled the trigger on a Holley Sniper today

Curious about installation too, please either keep this going, or do a nice install post that could be made into a sticky, that would be great.

Holley question, what do think of Vacuum Secondary vs "Double Pumper"?

Vacuum secondaries only open as the engine needs more air& fuel, rather than you just opening them by mashing your foot down. A double pumper style mechanically opens the secondaries based on your foot, and can be a lot more than the engine needs right then. You can though, adjust when and how...

F.I. Tech or Holley sniper. Opinions from users.

 The Pro Flo does look good. I already have an RPM Air Gap though, but I know I could sell that. I'm torn because I wanted to keep a "period correct" look, & a Sniper would hide pretty well under the drop base air cleaner.

    Gas tank install

Well, that sucks. I just love how you cant rely on anything (not even brand new) these days. More & more stores are closing because people buy stuff online. It seems like most stuff I've bought online was nowhere near the description. Either that or it was just plain ****. Hey, but more profit...

    TB EFI Conversion Parts List

I personally would rather/plan on running hard line the length of the car, even though I know the hose is up to the task. I dont like droopy looking stuff and have run enough PVC pipe to know that over time, I dont care how many clamps you put on it, "if it aint hard, it droops", my old boss...

Drill a hole into Fuel Filler Neck?

IF you decide to go against the previous wisdom presented, please do make a video of the process with you drinking a beer, and start with the line "Hey guys, Mario here, watch this" so that we all may learn how well it works.......Or not. Thank you EDIT; For maximum entertainment value and...

600 CFM, all I need. Check my math!

Wait for some more knowledgeable folks here to answer that one, I know just enough to be dangerous, & don't like spreading mis- information.

600 CFM, all I need. Check my math!

Your math is correct figuring at 100% volumetric efficiency. Most engines don't run at that level, though adding headers will help. I ran my 340 for years with a 600. Many people said it was too small, but it ran fantastic. Check this Carb CFM Calculator

What to do with filler neck

Maybe try phosphoric acid? I'm going to need to do the same project soon, interested to see what works.

    Anybody heard of these?

It looks like it MAY atomize the pump shot. So my thought is, it won't help mileage unless you drive down the road rolling in& out of the throttle, in which case, you probably don't care about mileage. Forget about HP improvements, cause you measure that @ WOT. 4 speed jockeys get 3 or 4 pump...

    02 Sensor Mount

Good catch AJ I totally missed the mounting at the Tips part. I was assuming he was talking about a bracket that clamps to the tip of the sensor, not the tip of the pipes.

    Hidden Ram Air Vents

Thanks, I shoulda figured somebody else would have thought of that before me. Sounds like it works quite well too. Might have to make it a serious consideration. I must have seen that early NASCAR photo somebody posted at some point in my past.

    Hidden Ram Air Vents

By cowl, do you mean a cowl hood? I've been toying with the idea of 2 feeder lines off the cowl area under the hood. Lots of airflow there, but you might not like the sound of intake all the time through your vents. Very stealth (until you open the hood)
