    Interesting. where do you get new lugs, or do you cut, drill, tap a hunk of same sized steel stock?

    lift the front, not the engine/trans, much easier. You could also pile a few toolboxes, bags of concrete, sand, whatever you got- in the trunk, makes the front that much lighter. Be careful when you get a few things in there, might just lift on its own. Engine & trans on a couple harbor freight...

    My guess, not personal experience, is that a 440 is going to cost more than a stroked 400. Kind of like having a 360 in house, and deciding to go out and find a 340.
