    383 BLOWER SET UP

Indeed - the manifold is the most difficult piece - I believe Indy makes a low-deck mod-man intake that can mount a 71 series blower

    7875 + 5.9 + E85 + Megasquirt

Thanks for the response - I figure for minor tuning while out and about it would be easier to just leave the Pi in the glove box -- if major tuning needs to be done back at the garage with a laptop -- I appreciate the info

    7875 + 5.9 + E85 + Megasquirt

Curious - I am converting my Gen III over to an MS3X and will be running Dakota Digital gauges - would the Pi allow me to make adjustments in TunerStudio on the fly while driving (Instead of having to use my laptop while driving)?

    Roots style on 400

I decided to run a balancer on my 440.... just figured why not --- if I were you I would indeed run a balancer since it is an externally balanced cast crank... I know people say the imbalance is taken by the blower belt and all that but I just simply ask - why NOT run a balancer?

    68 Dart GTE Project

Nice build - the 2JZ is a great engine - don't mind the nay-sayers.... they have their opinions - show me a small block mopar that you can swap a turbo on and make 800hp on a stock bottom end. Overall, love the project

    Camshaft selection with Turbo

From my understanding - you want less overlap and as much lift as you can get... overlap obviously bleeds off boost pressure so a lot of overlap is not ideal... high lift allows more air to be taken in... The stock cam is good but really low lift... would be better off with a...

    CRANK WOBBLE!! Updated, found problem

I would buy a dial indicator (if you dont have one) and remove everything down to the crank snout... then turn the crank by hand and track if the snout is bent - this would show something wrong with the crank... if it shows true then it's obviously somewhere else... put the balancer...

    EFI options

I would recommend running a port injection systems over a TB set up - Tuning and sensor inputs would be a little more work but it would allow for more tuning capabilities compared to a self learning TB system. I am working with an MS3X for my 6.1 and it is proving to be quite fun to wire up...

Is a MP 509, 292 purple shaft a decent cam on a supercharged motor

As others have said - a supercharger cam is better suited to be on a wider LSA and less overlap than an NA camshaft. I am going to be running a cam on a 114* LSA with around 290/300 Duration - but it is a lazy grind so duration at .050" is fairly mild. Should run very well on the street with...

    6-71

Glad you're making progress - I am getting my block back this week from my machinist - going to have a blower on it as well - What are you planning on for heads?

    6BTM or locked out timing?

I'm not too familiar with your plans - but do you have a management system picked out yet? Going EFI or keeping carb? Most EFI systems utilize spark control and at that point a locked out dizzy allows the ECM to do all timing adjustments.
