[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

I had several 1968-72 B-Bodies with 8.75" rear ends. All the front drum brake cars had 11" rear drums. All the disc brake cars had 10" rear drums. I'm not saying there are no exceptions to this, but that's what my cars were equipped with.

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

In all likelihood, yes. Think of all the Road Runners with 11" drums and 14" wheels. Disc brake clearance is trickier. The caliper has to clear in diameter and width.

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

All correct. Moser sells the axles that will work, but if this is a clean sheet of paper build, it is wise to go to the much more common (and available) B-Body axle and brake configuration.

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

Glad to help. Just to be clear, I agree with Dana67Dart. My first contact would be Doctor Diff. Tell him what you're trying to accomplish, and he'll steer you in the right direction. I've never purchased from Moser, but I've done business with Doctor Diff and have been completely satisfied...

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

You can make those work. The backing plates don't care what size bolt pattern the axles are. Moser makes LBP axles for use with the A-Body 1.75" brakes. You would probably have to redrill drums, but that's easy. A30-CST-A45 - A-Body, 8 3/4" Rear Axle Shafts, Stock A-Body Drum Brake...

[WANTED] 10 X 2.5 in rear drum brake assemblies for 8.75 diff.

That's a good start. We still need to know which axles by Moser. Specifically, what is the "standoff" or "brake gap?" They were different on A-Bodies. Moser sells 5 x 4.5" axles in both the A-Body and B-Body brake gap. Also needed is the size of the center register. With this information...

Exactly. Brake assembly is axle dependent. Without knowing what the OP has any recommendation is just a guess.

[Found!] 1972 Dart HVAC controller connector

I got this one for my Barracuda. It's a nice piece. It looks like you're hooked up, but if everything falls through... https://www.yearone.com/Product/chrysler-a-body/l38445

[Found!] 1972 Dart HVAC controller connector

My connector was melted. The only one I found for sale was part of a AC/heater sub-harness made by H&H and sold by Year One. I needed it so I bought it. I've seen people post about contacting M&H to buy components, but I don't know if anyone has succeeded in doing so.

[Found!] Picture of your seat belt tag

Except for the buckle picture, I photographed those other pictures years ago for the date codes. I didn't really care which belt went with which tag or buckle. I can re-photograph all the tags and buckles and post descriptions as to their location. I won't be able to finish this until sometime...

[Found!] Picture of your seat belt tag

Thanks. The 2945158 is the shoulder belt. They may not have been mandatory yet in the summer of '68. I know some states mandated shoulder belts before the federals required them.

[Found!] 67-72 NOS UPPER BALL JOINTS A BODY

Clearly the O.P. wants Original Equipment Manufacture New Old Stock, not aftermarket New Old Replacement Stock. He probably has a very original car. His car, his choice. That's not a knock on your parts. I've been hoarding older Moog and TRW for awhile. Ever since quality took a dump when...

    [Found!] Windshield wiper knob

I have a couple spares, but both are missing the little clip that goes in the slot to hold it snug. It's just a thin piece of brass. Just about anything would work. Maybe even a piece of plastic from a milk jug. One is pitted pretty badly. The other is slightly, but it wasn't too noticable...

[WANTED] Black Three Spoke Sport Steering Wheel

You're welcome. Here are a couple pictures that will help illustrate what you're looking for to others. Even though the spokes look the same, the woodgrain wheel has the steel rim exposed on the edge where the faux leather wheel does not. You might be able to see in this picture that there is...

[WANTED] Black Three Spoke Sport Steering Wheel

In '69, the standard Barracuda steering wheel was similar to the woodgrain. It was a three spoke like the woodgrain, but with a plastic faux leather rim. It may have been used on other years or models, but if so I don't know which. I have a green one, but it's a mess, badly cracked and sun...

[Found!] Flat headed carriage bolts with clip

Wanted to buy: Three of these carriage bolts with a clip to locate them in a slot. Thread measures 1/4-20, but square part of bolt is smaller than normal 1/4-20 carriage bolt. Used in dash for radio and speaker mounting on 1968 Barracuda and probably several other Mopars from the era. Please...

    [Found!] 11/16" tie rod sleeves

Part numbers that seem to work: Mopar 3402805 and Moog ES440S. TRW and McQuay-Norris also use ES440S. All out of production. Outfits I've purchase from with satisfaction carrying these parts: Bill Rolik. I like Bill, he's been a good guy to deal with...

    [Found!] 11/16" tie rod sleeves

Yes, those are virtually identical to the QA1 sleeves, but haven't had the price increase yet. I paid a good bit less for the QA1s way back when, but those are a bargain now. I looked for them on PST under 1974 Monaco, but they weren't listed. The reason for the 11/16" tie rod is to reduce...

[WANTED] 340 Heat Exhaust Shield 68-70

I don't know if this is helpful, but mine is stamped 2863599. It appears identical to the one in Barney's post #1. That number doesn't show up in parts manuals from 1966, the first year to have sequential part numbers that high, right through 1971. Apparently another case of a Mopar part...
