The wiper linkage is obvious which way it goes. The pivot to pivot is marked at the ends R and L.

Your motor to left wiper pivot piece may be bent.

The bushing goes in the linkage first then snaps on the motor arm.

Yes i did that with a pair of 68 buckets. Make sure you feel the holes. 67 was a different seat back. Unless someone changed them.

You won't be able to feel the two tiny screw holes but you should be able to feel the large hole for the head rest shafts. I did mine after I had my seats recovered. It was a little nerve racking cutting the hole for the shafts.

I did that on my 69 Dart years ago. You need to feel your seats and make sure yours have the holes in the frames for the hardware. Not all of them did. But I remember it wasn't that hard.

Sounds like you have a column shifted Steering Column. That would be the shift tube.
