They are not on the same day. Garlits was on November 7&8. Horse park FMA was on November 14&15. I went to the horse park show and I can tell you there was about half the vendors and spectators of the year before. I would guess Garlits show was smaller. But I agree they need to combine into one...

Yes it was great to talk to you and your son. Caught up with a bunch of different people I haven’t talk to to in a long time. Parts were very sparse and priced to the end user. Few deals to be had. Bought some shock plates and 340 exhaust manifolds. I can’t see two shows continuing in the future.

What the hell are you talking about? I've been going there since the early 90's. I had a show car where the Sleep Inn is now built. Where the Cracker Barrel sits right now use to be all parking. So either you don't know **** or your talking out your ***!

How does that change the facts? The venue is still smaller, much smaller.

The biggest problem with having the show at the museum is simple Garlits has sold off a big part of his property over the years. There is just not enough room for the shoe there. The fact that he bought property across the street from the show doesn’t help.

I have wrote Ken McNally twice about me using a Polaris Ranger as a handicap vehicle. He hasn’t replied yet.

Well he use to own a lot more land and the show had more room. The Sleep Inn property and all the land where the Cracker Barrel is use to be his.

I did cancel my room for the 4 days. But I still plan on going to the Ocala horse park meet on Saturday November 14.

Will be interesting to see how it works out this year. I went to the Garlits meet for about 25 years. Up until the last two when FMA started this one at horse park. Been at that one last two years. Which is where I’m going this year if they let me bring my Polaris Ranger. I can’t walk very far...

No that was many years ago that his dog was run over. He slowly has sold off a lot of the land. Then FMA and the girl that was in charge had a falling out. And that is when it was moved to Ocala Horse park a couple years ago. But this year Garlits and the lady got together and want the meet back...

It is a decent show. Not sure I would make a trip from Maine for it.

I have a reservation at the Sleep Inn right there at Garlits for the 6-8th that I’m most likely going to cancel if anyone is interested.

That is a different show. The one planned for Nov 7-8 is ALL Mopar and is called the 32 Annual Mopars.

I think by the time of the show next year that they will figure out the down side of two shows and come together in the end.

It will be interesting to see how it works out in the long run.

Well at the present time, they plan on having two shows a week apart? Kind of a division of people. The lady that was in charge of the show at Garlits place is going to keep it going at the original location. The museum.

Just got back home from the show. Weather turned out to be pretty good. Crowd was very light. Still sold some stuff. Next year the old crew is returning the show back to Don Garlits place. November 7th and 8th 2020.
