The one on the pass side. You want a ported vacuum source.

How long are yours. Here is one I just took out of a core About 1 1/2” under the head to tip.

Look into the bores from the bottom. See if you can see both tips showing thru.

As long as your pull off is on a direct vacuum port it will be good.

No it is a stock 5/16”.

Don't know the answer but, I have a brand new line for my 70 Duster that if I'm not able to straighten out the tittle, I'll be selling. That and a bunch of other new parts I bought for it like brakes , suspension and other parts.

I have run that pump on several cars over the years including my now 69 360 Dart. I’ve never had a sealing problem. But I-always ran a short section of rubber hose on the intake side and output to keep vibration down. I just use Teflon tape.

I went from a 1406 Edelbrock that I ran on my 360 Dart to a 1906 Edelbrock AVS2 650. Very pleased with the difference. Throttle response is and cruise throttle response is much crisper. This would get my vote.

The 650 AVS2 works great on my slightly warmed over 360 in my 69 Dart. From what I read in your post I wouldn’t be scared to go with the 800.

Start with the simple test 1-check fuel filter 2- check for accelerator pump shot. With the engine off, remove air filter . Open the choke blade, look down the primaries, slowly open the throttle and look for pump squirting gas. Go from there.

FYI. I just put a new tank in my 69 Dart. I mounted the tank loosely and i was able to install the filler neck from the inside without much truouble.

On a 67-69, three screws go from outside the quarter panel and screw into the fuel fill neck.

My 69 Dart has never leaked. That I know of.

Leaking at the quarter panel? The gas cap keeps it from leaking.

I have the regular AVS2 and it still looks good. I would save the $50.00.

Then it still has the 65 heads on it. Your are limited in your choice of intakes. The D4B Edelbrock is a good choice thou there not easy to find.

Yup that adapter is up side down. You say you have a 65 273? Are the heads later model? 64-65 273 used 5/16” bolts at a different angle too.

Run it. As long as the fuel in your line flows laminar your good to go. You like that big word? lol

I just installed a 1906 650 AVS2 Edelbrock on my 69 360 Dart. Ihad previously had a 1406 600 Edelbrock abd before that a 4777 650 Holley DP. The new AVS is by far the best performing carb I’ve had on it. Very resonsive and starts much easier.

I have a 68 filler neck and it is exactly like the one in my 69. I just replaced the tank in my 69 Dart and it I identical to the One I took out of a 68. Vent line runs along the back of the filler tube then passes thru the floor pan gasket and ends up in a hole in the frame rail.

68 and 69 are ran the same way.

That is what the OP is asking about. Using a 69 fill neck. Which has a separate vent line.
