Which carb set do you like ? (Pics)

If tuned properly the 6 pak will out perform a single carb. They did a (manifold/carb swap on the same base engine) thread and it was a bit more hp and torque using the 6 pak

    360 Fit

I would look for the 89-92 roller LA motors and they can be found in vans and trucks. I found mine with 75,000 miles in an old church van for a few hundred. I prefer the LA to Magnums because there a s**t ton of aftermarket parts compared to the magnum. My engine had a windage tray and reusable...

    1985 dodge 360,727 into 1968 dart

360 car pan (876) has a different offset stock center sump pick up than the 392 pan. The 876 sump is only 2" from the front of the pan and the 392 is 4" back. The 876 pan requires the 72-S4 pick up which was special order. The standard pick up is the 72-S2 for the pans with the sump 4" from the...

    engine vibration....damper?

IF your using an aftermarket flex plate with the 1/2 moon out of it you need to remove the converter weight. That is the wrong balancer for a 360. There is a 79 Magnum in the yard here with a 360 in it.

1973 360 motor home engine questions

It's the same as a car engine except the oil pan, exhaust manifolds and kickdown linkage. The cranks are all drilled for the manual trans but don't have the bushing in them if they were in an automatic vehicle. There is a specific # oil pan for putting 360's in early A cars.

    eBay air cleaner

I would ask if it's a drop base and how deep. I would also add a filter lid. That looks like a 2" by maybe 14". I use a 14x3 with a 2" drop and a filter top and have plenty of hood clearance.

I have always used the paper gaskets and have never seen a copper one for it. I also use Indian Head gasket sealer at the block and let it sit over night. I have never had a leak.
