Paul Petcou's 71 340 Duster is the quickest A-body at PSMCDR and has been low 12's@110ish. Tim clary's 69 Chevelle L-89 is the quickest 396 there and has been 11.50's@118ish. Both cars on polyglas reproduction tires. Race is Sept 16-17 Stanton,MI, very cool to see.

I pulled the trigger on a pair of the bare unported heads. What are the best bang for the buck options for valves? If I do anything with them down the road they will get sent to PRH but with just some quick searches there doesnt seem to be alot of valve options.

Yes I'm running the stock cam degreed at 112. I think I had a 1.89 60 foot time at Stanton,MI but I would have to look at my slips. Another interesting thing with my car is it seems to like being shifted at 5000 rpm.Might try some 3.92 gears next year.I am not a super tuner by any means and...
