    "clones"

I agree that it is a bit irritating to go check out a car and immediately know it's not a "real" or wasn't originally a 340 or a Formula S. But I think there is a difference between what someone does to their car and when someone is selling one. First, I think we can agree that someone can...

    Video of the Oldschoolcuda

Very nice video and really cool car. It sounds awesome. I too had to get the snow blower out this morning! Rich PS WD40 isn't a lubricant, it's good stuff for the hinges I like "SuperLube" because it has teflon in it.

    360 magnum vs 5.7 hemi

I see the 5.7L Hemi as a continuation of the Chrysler tradition that started with Hemi combustion chambers is the the early 50s, it did NOT start and end with the 426 (actually it started in the 40s with an aircraft engine for WWII which can be seen in the WPC museum). With a hemi head you do...

    66' Formula S barracuda

I'd be interested in your car if and when you are considering selling it but you should probably keep it and enjoy it a bit first. I am not an expert but it sounds like you have most of the important Formula S stuff like the speedo and tach. The Formula S is NOT in the VIN. As stated...

    Top Speed???

Yes this top speed seems way off, it maybe ok for a smogged out slant six but not your car. I don't want to take a guess but I do suggest getting some chassis dyno time. That should help sort out if it's engine or fuel or electrical or... Good luck.

Chrysler Car Show Pics - Better late than never

I took these pics last month at the Chrysler Employee car show held at the WPC Museum. Sorry it has taken so long I had probelms downloading the pics from the camera. These are from the second floor of the museum. The '68 model year was honored and there were some cool '68 Hemi...

    64 Dart Values

I think it is difficult to get over $5000 for an early A-body. Condition and options are very important and of course a two door is more desirable than a four door. I like to look at the completed eBay auctions as an indiction of what things actually sell for. A quick look at last months...

    A-bodies over priced?

I don't think A-bodies are over priced. The really good condition perfromance cars will always demand a premium but you can get a nice vintage ride for $5,000. Right now I think the real problem is the price is too low - with the price of scrap metal at an all time high we are losing...

    pontoon boat

Instead of a Pontoon boat you might also consider a "deck boat", much mor efun than a deck boat. They can fit a lot of people and you can also water ski and do other family stuff with them. Make sure you get one with a V-8. Four Winns makes a nice one, I think it's called a Candia.

    Mich. CEMA show-anybody going?

I'll be there. It's a great show and you get to go into the Chrysler museum for free.

Got my Dart !!!!! Take a look!!!

Great car! Looks really super! My wife is NOT a big fan of old cars. So I'm trying the Pavlov thing with her, every time she goes with me in the Valiant she always get something like ice cream or we go out to dinner or she gets to go shopping. I even tell her that's what I'm doing, she...

June 7 Chrysler Employee Motorsports Association 19th Annual Car Show

I'm not sure where to post this but this seemed like a good place. This show is only a few miles from my house, it's a great car show and it's on the grounds of the Chrysler Museum. Here's the details: June 7 Sat Walter P. Chrysler museum grounds (1 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Mi)...

    '66 formula S Barracuda

I think the price is high for any '66 Barracuda. Although this does sound like the one to get due to the condition but there is vey little interest in these cars and few people are willing to spend over $8,000 for one, even for a really nice one. I would also like to find a '66 Formula S with...
