You could fight that ticket. There's nothing that says which side of the car you can't park on.

Barely 2 month old mufflers, cracked through

Cragar refunded my entire purchase price for four wheels. (Smoothies), because they rusted. I give them credit for that. I didn't think they would, but I didn't know until I tried.

Street Freaks, Customs, Rods, Street Machines...60's 70's 80's

I had a friend who put a 327 in a '73. He was like you, could put a JY rear in it with his eyes closed. He eventually put a 12 bolt in it, and then it would rip the suspension arm mounts from the body. So, he put a rear sub frame in it. It held up, but it weighed more than his brother's '68...

Back when cars were simple. I just learned that our Accord has an engine mount that has a fluid in it and it's vicosity is controlled my electro-magnets (I think?) to stop engine vibration! Holy Complications, Batman!

You've outdone yourself, @66340SEDAN! I'll "like" them all when I get more time. Imagine being able to buy an A12 RR brand new! I had a friend (RIP Ted) who did just that. He got a Kelly Green (4 spd) one for $2995, because the dealer couldn't sell it!

NOT MINE 1968 BO29 Hemi Cuda (supposedly) the real deal - $200,000

I know nothing about its value, but you guys need to read the C/L ad that is linked in post #1. It answers some of your questions. I was good friends with a guy who knew Clayton. I always got the impression that Clayton was just a regular working stiff like most of us; and he got himself a...

I'll bet the plugs didn't get changed very often. And... all of that, and the trunk "just" goes straight up? Should've been split like the hood. I mean, if you're going to screw it up, screw it up aesthetically.

    Reversive cluster mileage

I bought my 87 5.0 Mustang new. It had an 85 mph speedometer. It was common then to replace it with a Ford Motorsports 160 mph speedo. I took the new one apart before I installed it and set it to the mileage that the original one had on it. I don't recall it being any trouble. I still have...

I was 11 in 1970, too young to experience the muscle car era firsthand. But I remember clearly, going for bike rides just to see who was out in what cool car. I'd also stop at the local drug store to buy any car magazines that might pop up, other than all the mags I had subscriptions to- High...

Yikes, is right! Maybe he wanted something that wouldn't get stolen. Or, maybe he didn't drive it much because he was afraid it would get stolen! Is it a late 70's Firebird with a later Camaro front? (No hatchback.) Does that say "FORD" on the trunk lid? Overall, a nice bunch of pics, I...

Jay Leno first to test drive Dodge's last V8 muscle car

Jay never asks Tim (Dodge CEO) why they're going to stop making gasoline Hellcats, after Tim says they've sold (a bunch). I wonder if he wasn't allowed to question him as to why they're going to build electric cars, when the market hasn't been naturally allowed to accept them, or, is he just on...
