I just used Hooker 5204's. They fit fine with the exception the steering. They weren't made for 73 and up steering. They're 1 3/4 dia., so they're routed different than the 1 5/8's. Hooker 5204 Problem

I'm denting them. The idler arm and pitman arm are different between 72 and older, and 73 up. I'm not even sure you can get a center link. (other than used, of course)

Aside from the performance benefits, I think headers are the sexiest looking performance part there is. I even like drawing them. :-)

I used that resonator, or glass pack trick too. I hated to do it. I like simple. But, whatcha gonna do sometimes? It seems some mufflers are more like megaphones. I'm a V-8 guy. Six cylinder engines should be seen and not heard. (Sorry, just my opinion, and we know what they are like!)

This is 'ZACKLY correct! Everybody likes to talk mufflers, but a car with out tail pipes is LOUD!

This is purely subjective, but I agree with green1 about the sound of side exhaust. You're only hearing half of the engine when you're close to the car. I never liked that effect.

How come a loud Harley is ok w/ the Po-lease, but a loud car gets you a ticket? (Nothing against Harley's- or the Police.) I can't handle a loud daily driver, but the "Internal Combustion Orchestra" should be heard on a weekend cruiser.
