Yep, that's a pretty aggressive "burn rate." It's funny how years ago (dating myself) it was common to see cars going down the highway billowing blue smoke. Pretty rare sight these days. Good luck and keep plenty of oil in that pretty blue baby.

Very cool project. I have a soft spot for these cars, since I had a 56 4dr with the hemi when I was about 14. I tore that beautiful engine down (purred like a kitten before that) and left it for dead. I don't think my dad has ever quite forgiven me. Keep us up to date.

What a great Notch! They just look "so right" with the vinyl top and what a great color combo. First notch I ever saw had a vinyl top, must have made an impression back in 68. :glasses7:

I was thinking how nice your truck would look in solid copper. Here is a nice short box I saw at a norther show a few years ago. Color is a little different, but gives you an idea.
