    Best Brakes for Buck

Just pulled another set of pin-calipers, adapters and rotors (reinforcement ribs on the back, too!) for a whopping $65.38 at Northwest Auto Recycle Tuesday. Stumbled across a '76 Cordoba that nobody had gotten to while getting the interior trunk panel protector (the black plastic piece in the...

    Best Brakes for Buck

Yup- 69 Mope has it. The last pair of 11.75" rotors, calipers, & adapters I pulled off a '75 Coronet coupe with the pin-style adapters. All of it was really new...no rust on the rotors, new bearings/seals, calipers painted grey w/the yellow inspection numbers, and brandy-new looking hoses. Out...

    EBC brakes

Ran EBC green on my '99 Regal GS. They are nice, but the fronts wore out kinda quick- it's my wife's 'work' driver and I run Caddy STS discs up front, so they got driven gently. Good stopping power, no noise, just a little soft. The rears? The "Green Stuff" pads are still hanging in there

Anything more is just more reciprocating weight you have to get in motion and then slow down that...

    Disc brake swap Rotors

    Where to buy disc conversion

Don't forget that you need to do hardlines if your car is going from single-pot master cylinder to a tandem, but the 4-hole MC from a '73-'76 should bolt up to the firewall (buddy did it to his '64). Any early-A experts want to chime in?
