I ran up against this too. Pain in the ***. I finally stopped looking for a pig tail and used that starter as a core to get a 98 Dakota starter (rebuilt) from NAPA with the regular post terminals. Then I upgraded the terminals to the front facing units for ease of installation, etc.

Can help on this but interested in the answer to your question. I think someone will chime in. If not, call Magnum Mopar or Hughes Engines. I think either one will know the answer.

I don't think the driver's side magnum manifold works on A bodies. I did have a magnum manifold on the pass side originally but then switched to a 340 manifold when I bought the Accurate Exhaust Systems kit. The only thing I could find that works with the Magnum, 4 speed set up was the TTI...

My 00 ram (bought new) currently has 240,000 on it and I'll bet the heads are cracked. I'll keep driving it for now. Like you I have a motor for my 5.9 swap but it has 110,000 on it and I'll more than likely do eq heads on it before installing it. But if I had a 2 mile motor, I'd drop that baby...

Are those 340 manifolds you are running? Do they bolt right up to the mag heads. I swear someone told me in a post the other day that the port sizes were different and they had to make an adaptor plate. Has that been your experience? Thanks! CE

Sorry, I should have said, drivers side won't fit in "my" application. The rear exit magnum manifold works fine on the passenger side of my car with the 90 degree oil filter adaptor. The drivers side is impeded by all the clutch rods, zbar, and probably more. I cannot make a blanket statement...

Brewer's lists a set of repro 340 manifolds. is this a proprietary item for them, or are they buying from another vendor to resell? As a guy who hates headers I would think this would be a great product, but what do I know!!!! Lol.
