Driving on the street you will most likely be ok with pump gas, unless you want to get on really get on it , that closed chamber with help you with lower octane fuel. Just my 2 cents

Ported 516’s with OVERsized intake valves

We built a 440 with 516 heads and 2.14 intake and 1.81 exhaust valves, with flat tops, its not quite 11-1, customer adds just a splash of 110 octane, it runs good in a Duster 11.00's in the 1/4

We just finished a 440, that has the 516 heads with oversized valves NO port work, flat top pistons and just .525 lift cam, that ran 11.11 and 120 in a Duster street strip car, your will not need a stroker motor to run mid 11s

I think it all comes down to the right combo, with your current heads, you could make plenty of power, are you trying to reach a specific number for racing for an specific ET?

    Roller rockers

You are correct the H.S. rockers do have bad geometry, and they are a good rocker not great, my point was, if the rocker is stamped 1.5 it should be 1.5

    Roller rockers

I purchased some PRW rockers, and the ratio turned out to be 1.4, and that is no good, i have some 1.6 steel rollers, they came in under 1.5, Harland Sharps are a true 1.5 or better, I say you have to spend the money on good rockers or you do not know what you get.
