That makes sense. Wasn't thinking about the trans brake. I'm a foot brake guy.

After watching the video it looks like a bog, probably going lean? I agree with Mderoy that it probably wants more initial timing and then you can start tuning the accelerator pump circuit with pump cams and nozzles. Do you have a wideband and AFR guage?

Well.... My little junkyard 360 has run 7.47 @ 90 MPH in the 1/8th with a perfect air fuel ratio all the way down the track. That would make for a high 11 second 1/4 pass. Over carbed? Nope. The charts online told me to run 600 CFM. I'm just glad I listened to knowledgable people on here...

I don't think the 750 is too much carb. That's what I run on my 360 as well.

How is final assembly going? Any updates?

Making good progress. I'm in the middle of updating my fuel system. Hope to be tuning and making passes soon. Less than 100 days until drag week! No pressure

Running the 71 Dart in my avatar. Did DW for the first time last years and it was a blast! Made a lot of friends. Car was in the low 12s/high 11s last year so I wasn't very competitive in Street Machine Eliminator. Needed to average 10.97 to make it in the top 32 to get into the bracket race on...

Looks like a great build. Too bad about Drag week. I made it in somehow. Trying now to make the Dart faster and hope to have the bugs worked out by September

Love what you've done with it! I think your tach is the biggest give away. I've got mine down on the dash by my left knee. Ricers around here don't seem to pay attention to the big tires or the sound. They sometimes ask if it's missing lol!
