    1968 340S Coupe 4spd

Um...don't want to be a downer, but check the front rame rails, rockers, and torsion bar crossover too. I have a feeling they are gonna be shot too. Lots of welding to be done there. If you can weld that will help costs. It hasn't sold because of price, & work needed. It is a desirable model...

New Thread-to Be Or Not To Be?

Good point. No I didn't see your car. Normally, fully restored cars are not driven. They are just kept as an investment, or sold for a profit (Barrett Jackson). Anyways, save a Mopar from getting crushed. I think we can all agree on that.

New Thread-to Be Or Not To Be?

I think it depends on the person, & their intentions. 1. If you go full resto, might as well put it in a museum. It won't be driven much, if ever. Keep it in a climate controlled garage & keep it pretty. Let people take pics of it, & ooh & awe. Protect it from fingerprints & scratches. Then...

    NEW THREAD-Why we don't finish........

Rust...is the biggest reason I didn't finish my Formula 'S'. Everytime I went to replace something, I found something attached to it rusted out. So far the whole front clip has been replaced. I have also replaced all the frame rails, including the torsion bar crossmember. All of the trunk...

    Pro Max Mistake?

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have a factory Six pack setup. I was interested in seeing how their carburetor idle screw baseplate modifications (front & rear) would work. Looks like the fuel line problem will set you behind. My hood would not close without having it cut, btw. You'll...
