    Paint code YY1

Needs to be a relatively flat (can have a gentle curve, like a body panel) area about 5-6 inches. I believe I used the underside of the hood.

Do you have anything to paint match to? That's what I did and it was 100% spot on.

    Broken vent wing pivot

Is it all one piece? I'd try cutting the pivot pin off flush, drilling through the center of where it was, then fitting a new steel pin, drilled through the center to accept a machine screw from the other side of the handle. ...if you can't find a used one.

1970 Swinger 340 with light green butt stripe

For a while I was infatuated with cars that had blue tail stripes. You see red ones a lot, but hardly ever blue or green.

    Duster Duck Tail

Mine looked like post #7. It went on better than I thought it would. Actually ended up pretty even and centered, and flush. I used self tapping, 5/16 head fasteners with captive rubber washers.....carefully. The rubber provides a seal and also gives some leeway when tightening.

Have you ever seen any Dart, Valiant, Demon or Duster with a rear window defroster?

Door sticker? Is 930 the SPD? September 30 72? That's a pretty early 73 then.

Have you ever seen any Dart, Valiant, Demon or Duster with a rear window defroster?

Electric grid should have atimed off switch. Interesting. Do you know the build date? I wonder if it's a "January 1" thing as some other things have been.

Have you ever seen any Dart, Valiant, Demon or Duster with a rear window defroster?

Again, the electric grid defroster was new for model year 1974 in the US.

Have you ever seen any Dart, Valiant, Demon or Duster with a rear window defroster?

Electric grid defrosters were new for 1974. I have a back glass with one for my 73 Satellite, for a 74 Charger. The real oddity is the blower in a 29 body A body car. I've only seen a couple pics of those, and they were on FABO.

Then came cream, light blue and what we know today as "institutional green".

Paint code “Unknown at this time “

I believe that changed from single or two tone to year and shade for the 1969 model year. '69 and later had two separate "XYN" codes for top and bottom of car, plus a "Vnx" code for a vinyl top if so equipped.

Paint code “Unknown at this time “

F8 one of the most common Mopar colors ever. Who ever wrote the code for that decoder....

Wow, can't believe how much these have gone up...

Even 10 years ago, they were out of stock of 73 covers, so I went with 74. It's actually a softer grain, and I like it.

...and I didn't even get the buddy seat cover, just buckets and rear bench.

How much other chrome trim does your car have? Drip rail Belt Wheel arch Side molding IMO if it has belt molding or side molding, chrome looks good. If it does not, then painted body color.

Hardtop windshield gasket on a convertible?

For $100, I'd be tempted to order one and mock it up or as close as I could get if I already had glass in and didn't want to take it out.

    Rear wheel well tabs

My 73 Satellite has those on the rear. I always assumed they were there to assist in mounting the wheel lip trim (an option my car does not have). A line worker could "simply" hold the trim against the tabs, and run the screws in.

Trunk lock broke - how to open the trunk?

Removing the rear seat bottom takes a certain "timed sequence of motions". Get the timing or the motions wrong and it won't release. I've found a slight downward push right before shifting the effort to forcefully pushing back toward the trunk, and then finally lifting after the bars on the seat...
