I don't remember. It is the O.EM. style water pump, so whatever those are. Anyways, I'm fairly curtain that my heating issue is the cause of incorrect pulleys. I am on the hunt for a water pump pulley that is 5 3/4 Diam. And a crank pulley that is 7 1/4 Diam. I think that will solve my issue.

Single belt is fine with me if it corrects the problem. I just need the pulleys and bolts.

Thank you for the help. Now, all I need is to find some pulleys that size and a couple new belts. I'll be so happy when I can drive this awesome car without watching the temp. guage non-stop. Thanks again!

Block off those heat ports on the heads for sure then. Fell-pro makes intake gaskets that are taller so they are blocked off. It will make all the difference in the world.

Mine did the same thing until I did what I mentioned too you when using an Edy carb. you get fuel boil. It is overheated fuel due to the design of the carb. the bowls are directly on top of the intake and that super heats the fuel. A phenalic block under the carb. helps but you MUST block off...

What carb. are you running? Is it the old style choke or an electric choke?

Do you have the old heat crossover's in the middle of your heads on either side of the carb? If so, change to a gasket that blocks them off. This reduces the heat at the carb. by more than 100 degrees and add a phenalic block under the carb.

What pistons are you using? I forget which ones, but there is one piston thats made out of a certain type of material that requires you to use special rings for them and if not, you will get oil blow by. Sorry I cant remember all the information but someone on here with greater amounts of...
