Last time at Nats for me was about 2003. First time was late 80s. Long haul when I lived in Mo. and went all the way to Carlsile twice. Carlisle was 1000 times better than Nats. IMO Since Carlisle came off before Nats. ALL the good parts wer there first at Carlisle for the high end guys...

Wish I could get away but....fom wife getting over two major surgeries and she is not to lift anything for another 4 weeks Boer goats kidding, livestock to feed,more doc appointments, etc!

I used to go from mid 80s, last time there was maybe 2003. 12 hours from Mo. I don't miss the nasty chitty porta poties, high priced motels, dusty sorry show grounds. It got to where the swapwas pretty much joke overall. Twenty years later, I can't imagine!

I have been to Mopar shows from Mn to NJ and all around and inbetween. This has always been my favorite. First Mopar event as in Mn. about '88? A few cars and parts. First week of June, it snowed that Sun a little!! Maybe put on by same bunch!!?????

Long way from Mo. to Carlisle, but I went there 3 times over the years, went to Nats. every year till about 2005. Carlisle is 100 times better than Nats. unless you are a racer maybe. Just no comparison.

There have been some great Mopar shows that bit the dust over the years, Topeka, Ks, East St. Louis, et. this could be next. I did make Garlit's show from Mo. way back in the 90s, great show, people, loved the museum. Egos and personalities can get in the way of lots of things in life.

Who had their show first? Big Daddy right. Maybe that has some bearing in all fairness? I am in Tx. now, but I had attended Big's show once decades ago. Too bad things can go sideways sometimes.

I have noticed since coming to Tx 2 1/2 years ago, Mopar parts are not near as plentiful as Missouri, and costs more. Everything costs more here! Big block stuff gets harder to find all the time. Back In Mo. 400's were common as dirt, but 440's had been coming out of motor homes for...

Back in the 90's I did a lot of parts, I would occasionally go to a big general sway, like Lincoln Ne . I would make a mopar flag, raise it high, I could watch and see guys see that flag and actually break into a run coming!!!!! One time at small general swap a GM guy had a lot of NOS...

I would like to go , but not on my plate for that long trip this weekend. Looking for Mopar stuff at that big swap would be GOOD exercise!!!!!
