When I did the engine compartment on my 69 B-Cuda, anything that I did not remove, I wrapped with aluminum foil. Aluminum foil is a lot easier to remove than masking tape. it works good. Dave

Just be aware that the knobs have different threads, so they wont all fit everything. Get Mopar specific, and you should be allright. Dave

I use OOO, and OOOO steel wool on chrome. You can also use a lite oil, or something like WD-40 with the wool. It works good for me. It wont remove pits, or scratches. It takes a little elbow grees, and time. I've even used it on chrome plated plastic on newer vehicles, but you have to take it...

Good fix, for the trunk. I went another way with my 66 B-Cuda trunk. I just put new springs in the original trunk rod, along with my elec trunk popper, the trunk pops open, and stays up nice. I guess if you dont have an original prop rod the gas charge is the way to go. Mine had one. Dave

I do what Lee Robinson says. I use 3-M (only) double sided trim tape. It does not come off/loose in heat of the day, like cheaper versions of the stuff. You also don't have to worry about chipping the paint in the hole, as you do when using the studs, with nuts. Dave

Northern Tool has a good selection of compressors. Buy the biggest CFM one you can afford, then buy a bigger one, LOL. Their is no substitute for CFM. Dave

You can use "3M" double sided auto trim tape. Might have to trim off studs tho. I install a Formula "S" badge on the tail gate of all my Dodge Ram trucks, and it never falls off. Dave

I wouldn't use POR-15 on anything. POR=Peels off Regularly It's hard to beat Epoxy primer, after you have finished your body work. Its not that much difference in price either. Dave

Castrol Super clean is corrosive on aluminum, and some ferrous metals, it must be rinced off. Dave
